Worf has some great moments in Star Trek First Contact, possibly his best outing in the feature films and I just love drawing him like this. Originally when I saw him taking his Klingon blade I was less than enthusiastic but now I love it. He has gall.I admire gall.
I find the way they handled Geordi’s love life to be somewhat cringe worthy however the fact that Worf is a poet and a lover at heart heart pleases me greatly. When I first watched TNG I didn’t think all that much of Worf but with every rewatch of TNG I find so much more […]
The request was to include Guinan and Wesley in addition to the main cast which presented a challenge in space and positioning. I fit Wesley in by getting him to crouch down and then I realised I had no more room. So then I moved them all down to Ten Forward so I could fit […]
This is the second in a little mini set of sketch cards that I was commissioned to do at the end of last year. I really enjoy drawing the Klingons. At some point I’ll have to give a Discovery Klingon a go but I don’t fancy the details of those outfits LOL.
This is a special piece for my friend over on Star Trek Minus Context who is a massive supporter of the Star Trek 365 project and an inspiration. There is not a day that goes by where I don’t see one of this amazingly out of context captions that makes me smile. This piece was […]
Yeah I’m cutting it close again… see what I did there? I’ve just been running around crazy today catching up on errands and stuff so I only got to finish this quite late (less than an hour to go). The rules of the challenge are that I must publish at least one scribble a day. […]
Worf baking a Tarvokian pound cake was possibly one of the most joyous of occasions for me as I realised what an hilarious character Worf really is. I didn’t really care for the character all that much before that but his line in The Game just struck me as so deadpan brilliant. Then I started […]
This was going to be the 100th scribble celebration but I have a new plan for that and since I wanted to do a big A3 TNG bridge piece anyway I thought why not celebrate the 75th. Like the TOS Tribble one this is double the normal size that I’ve been doing and I just […]
Okay so yesterday’s piece was not romantic or Valentine’s Day inspired at all, a scheduling mix up on my behalf. But since it is still Valentine’s for a couple of hours around half the world I figure I could make it up to everyone. I’m not going to lie, Bashir and O’Brien make me laugh […]
This was done as a favour as the companion piece to the Encounter at Farpoint illustration from last month. It’s a challenging scene to capture because the table is quite small and they’re all huddled around it so the solution is to be a little generous with the table to fit them all in. I […]
